Grant decisions are made by funding organizations and are influenced by factors such as their priorities, the availability of funds, and the competitiveness of the application process. However, our goal is to position your organization as a strong candidate for every opportunity.

How do I hire The Collective Group?The first step is scheduling a consultation to ensure we’re the right fit for your organization. During this conversation, we’ll discuss your goals, needs, and how we can support your mission. If we decide to move forward, your organization will sign a contract outlining the agreed-upon services and pricing. Some fees may be due upon signing, while others will be billed upon the provision of services and final products. We accept payments via check, ACH bill pay, or credit card.

What will I need to provide The Collective Group with to be able to seek and write grants for my organization?Once you contract with The Collective Group, you’ll complete an intake survey to help us understand your organization’s goals, programs, and priorities. To ensure we can provide the best possible service, we may ask for additional materials such as strategic plans, program outlines, and other key documents that provide insight into your mission and objectives. If you choose to have The Collective Group write grants on your behalf, you may also need to provide specific financial and organizational documents required by funders. These may include: Annual Operating Budget Tax ID Number Bylaws and Articles of Incorporation IRS Determination Letter Other supporting materials as needed The more information you share with us, the better we can align our efforts to meet your needs and secure funding for your organization.

Does my organization need to be a licensed nonprofit?Yes, in most cases. Yes, in most cases. Most funders require applicants to be licensed nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3) status. While there are occasional opportunities for community groups or individuals, these are rare. If you’re unsure about your organization’s eligibility, we’re happy to guide you in identifying appropriate funding opportunities.

Key Features: Grant writing, editing, and submitting one proposal per month Identification of 3–4 funding opportunities monthly Up-to-date grant tracking dashboard Bi-weekly grant strategy calls Available starting at $1,300 per month with a six-month commitment. Flexible Grant Writing Services For project-specific needs, we provide standalone grant-writing services: Foundation and Corporate Proposals: Starting at $500 per proposal. Government Proposals: Starting at $1,000 per proposal. Each service includes: One revision Submission of the completed proposal A one-hour strategy session to refine and align your goals 6-Month Grant Calendar Package For organizations seeking consistent, curated grant opportunities and strategic guidance, we offer a structured six-month package designed to simplify the grant-seeking process. If I choose not to apply for any of the grants The Collective Group identifies for my organization or don't receive funding from any of the grants The Collective Group writes for me, do I get a refund?No, refunds are not provided if you choose not to apply for the grants we identify or if funding is not awarded. This is because our fees reflect the time, expertise, and effort dedicated to researching and writing proposals tailored to your organization.
